Get rid of Ants with Coffee grinds!

If you spot a trail of ants in your home, you’ll want to get rid of them fast. Ants are not harmful to our health but ants can cause potential damage to wood, wires, or can even affect structural damage.

Ants are typically found outdoors. That’s until the weather gets warmer then,  ants will enter home in search of food and water. Unfortunately, once you spot one, you’re bound to find an entire army lurking. Fortunately, you are a coffee drinker! You have a natural chemical free way to rid your home of these eusocial insects.

First step; Don’t throw out your used grounds. The smell of brewed coffee grounds makes an effective ant and pest repellent.

Second step; Sprinkle some used coffee grounds on a disposable surface such as small cardboard, and place them in areas prone to ants. These can be used indoors or outdoors, and can also make a great soil nutrient from the minerals. 

Third step; Brew some more coffee because you can never be too safe right?
